To provide a detergent for glass that prevents the occurrence of glare and fog while having the ability to remove various deposits such as oil-based ones.SOLUTION : A detergent for glass contains water, an alcohol with 4 or less carbon atoms and/or a glycol ether with 4 or less carbon atoms, rare earth oxide particles, and fine particles with a particle size of 1.5 μm-5.5 μm.
