PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered magnet, with which a material yield of a magnet is improved when configured by dividing the magnet.
SOLUTION : A method for manufacturing a sintered magnet M used as a magnetic pole for a rotor core 100 includes : forming a green compact in which magnetic powder is compressedly formed by performing press molding of magnetic powder constituting a R-Fe-B-based sintered magnet that is composed mainly of Nd and contains a rare earth element R; molding a plurality of magnet pieces M1 to M4 constituting the sintered magnet by sintering the green compact under a situation of being heated to a sintering temperature; and correcting sizes of the magnetic pieces by disposing the magnetic pieces in a molding die 214 that molds them as a group under a situation of being heated to a temperature not exceeding the sintering temperature, and then performing pressure molding in a state in which the magnetic pieces are contacted with one another.
