PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a ferrite sintered magnet superior in residual magnetic flux density(Br) and squareness ratio (Hk/HcJ); and a motor arranged by use of such a ferrite sintered magnet.SOLUTION : A ferrite sintered magnet of the present invention comprises, as a main phase, M type Sr ferrite having a hexagonal structure. The M type Sr ferrite include Zn of which the content is 0.05-1.35 mass% in terms of ZnO, and a rare earth element (R), and satisfies the following condition : M1/M2 is 0.43 or less, where M1 represents a content of the rare earth element on a molar basis, and M2 represents a content of Zn on the molar basis.COPYRIGHT : (C)2016, JPO&INPIT
