The present invention relates to a method for recovering a residual actinide element from the molten salt of a chloride. More specifically, the present invention provides a method for recovering a residual actinide element from the molten salt of a chloride wherein a residual actinide metal is recovered by adding a rare-earth metal to the molten salt of a chloride.
