PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide luminescent compound exhibiting ultraviolet emission without using any rare earth element and Pb.
SOLUTION : A luminescent compound comprises a matrix oxide represented by a general formula MSb2O6 (where, M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba), which is co-doped with Ti and at least one alkali metal. The luminescent compound can exhibit a peak top of emission strength, for example, by optical excitation at a wavelength of 300 nm or less in a wavelength range from an excitation wavelength to 450 nm. A light emitter film includes the luminescent compound of this invention.
