A high-plasticity free-cutting zinc alloy, having a weight percentage composition as follows : 1.0-10.0% of copper, 0.1-3.0% of bismuth, 0.01-1.5% of manganese, 0.001-1% of titanium, and/or 0.01-0.3% of zirconium, an optionally added element X, an optionally added element Y, and the balance of zinc and inevitable impurities, the inevitable impurities being ≤ 0.01%, wherein X is selected from at least one of chromium, vanadium, niobium, nickel and cobalt, and the total added amount thereof is 0-1.0%; and Y is selected from at least one of boron, arsenic, phosphorus and a rare-earth metal, and the total added amount thereof is 0-1.0%. The alloy has the advantages of excellent cutting performance, higher plasticity and greatly improved processability, and can be widely used in the fields of F-connectors, pen manufacturing, connector assemblies, locksets and the like.
