The present invention relates to a portable toilet, which can be easily kept at home because it has the size of a book when it is folded and allows the old, infants or preschoolers to relieve themselves outdoors. A plastic toilet bowl which is semipermanent may be mounted and used at home, or a toilet pouch which is made of the same material as diapers and can absorb water or a paper toilet bowl which is made of the same material as a recyclable paper cup may be used outdoors. Particularly, the toilet pouch or the toilet bowl is convenient in use and clean, and is eco-friendly. In order to lessen a user′s resistance when the toilet bowl or the toilet pouch is installed, the toilet bowl or the toilet pouch is mounted inside a toilet seat, and a seat cover covers the toilet seat. Furthermore, the portable toilet includes : collapsible legs in order to minimize the volume of the toilet; a guide rail to easily install or separate the toilet bowl or the toilet pouch; and a hand grip protruding from the upper end part of the toilet bowl to allow the user to easily use the toilet, and the upper end part of the toilet pouch is molded round such that the user can easily install the toilet pouch.
