PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for simply measuring fluoride ion concentration at a low cost by lower detection limit concentration. SOLUTION : The method for measuring a fluoride ion concentration in a liquid material including at least fluorine ions in an aqueous medium comprises : mixing the liquid material and a rare earth metal alizarin complexone; performing capillary electrophoresis of a mixture including the ternary complex of rare earth metal-alizarin complexone-fluoride formed by the mixing; measuring the amount of the ternary complex of rare earth metal-alizarin complexone-fluoride separated by the capillary electrophoresis; and calculating the fluoride ion concentration in the liquid material from the results of the measurement.
