Provided in the present invention is a two-dimensionalizing method of a three-dimensional material, which comprises : a first step of fabricating a compound which is expressed in chemical formulas 4 to 6 and chemical formula 11 below and is fabricated by alloying a compound expressed in chemical formulas 1 to 3 and chemical formula 10 with an alkaline, alkaline earth or rare earth metal through an electrochemical reaction; and a second step of fabricating a compound which is expressed in chemical formulas 7 to 9 and chemical formula 12 and is fabricated by removing an ion which is alloyed in chemical formulas 4 to 6 and chemical formula 11 through an electrochemical reaction or a chemical reaction (here, x and y of chemical formulas 4 to 6 are selected within a range satisfying an octet rule). In particular, chemical formulas 1 to 12 mean chemical formulas described in the specifications. According to the two-dimensionalizing method of a three-dimensional material, a structural limitation of a parent phase material, which is the limitation of a conventional two-dimensional material study, is overcome, thereby achieving a two-dimensional material of a new structure which does not exist in the prior art from a three-dimensional parent phase. Accordingly, the method can synthesize a two-dimensional material without restraints on the structure of the parent phase, overcome the limitation of the conventional two-dimensional material while significantly increasing candidates for a new two-dimensional material. In addition, the new two-dimensional material which is fabricated by using the two-dimensionalizing method of a three-dimensional material has different features from those of the pre-existing three-dimensional material, thereby gathering expectations for breaking new ground in material study.
