PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide crystal having high sensitivity to neutron ray, low background noise originated from γ-ray and excellent transparency to enable use for a neutron scintillator. SOLUTION : The oxide crystal for neutron scintillator has a structural formula expressed by either one of formulas (1) to (3) and has a6Li content of ≥2.0 atom/nm3, wherein formula (1) is Li(Al1-x, TMx)O2, formula (2) is Li(Al1-x, REx)O2and formula (3) is Li(Al1-x-y, REx, TMy)O2; 0≤xCOPYRIGHT : (C)2011, JPO&INPIT
