This method for removing rare earth impurities in a nickel electroplating solution is characterized in that after a nickel electroplating solution with a pH of 4.0 to 5.1 and containing rare earth impurities, is maintained in a heated state for a fixed time at 60°C or above, precipitates precipitated by the heat are removed from the nickel electroplating solution by sedimentation and/or filtering.
