PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an R-Fe-B based permanent magnet which is manufactured at a blending ratio of materials, corresponding to various magnetic characteristics required.SOLUTION : An organic metal compound solution added with an organic metal compound represented by Co-(OR)(wherein R is one from among 2-6C alkyl groups and may be a straight chain or a branched chain, and x is an arbitrary integer) is added to a pulverized magnetic powder, and the organic metal compound is uniformly deposited to the surface of magnetic particles. After that, a molded body formed by powder compaction is maintained for several hours at 200-900°C in a hydrogen atmosphere to execute temporary baking process in hydrogen. Then, the resulted product is baked at 800-1, 180°C, thereby a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured.
