Provided is a technological process for the flexible sintering of a rare earth permanently magnetic alloy, comprising the steps as follows : a rare earth permanently magnetic alloy fine powder being weighed, moulded, and orientationally moulded to billets in a press (5) in an inert atmosphere, the billets are placed in charging trays (44); after the air between a second sealed conveying carriage (6) and a first isolation valve of a glove box (1) is replaced by an inert gas, the two isolation valves connected thereto are opened, then a bottom roller drive device in the second sealed conveying carriage conveys the charging trays into room 1 (32) of the glove box, then the two valves are closed and the second sealed conveying carriage leaves; a first sealed conveying carriage (2) is butt jointed with a third isolation valve at one end of a room 2 (38), sealing and locking the connecting flanges of the two isolation valves; the first sealed conveying carriage is butt jointed with an isolation valve of a sintering furnace (3), sealing and locking the connecting flanges; the sintering furnace is vacuum pumped, and when the vacuum degree is above 50 Pa or a protective gas is filled in, heating and temperature preservation are conducted according to a pre-set process curve, and sintering at a maximum temperature of 1200°C. Also disclosed is an apparatus for the flexible sintering of a rare earth permanently magnetic alloy. The above process can significantly improve magnet performances and production automaticity.
