The present invention relates to a split roller bearing comprising upper and lower inner race members (1b, 1a) coupled to a circular arc-shaped inner race (1); multiple rollers (r) arranged on the inner surface of the inner race into the shape of a circular arc; upper and lower outer race members (2b, 2a) coupled to a circular arc-shaped outer race (2) surrounding the rollers (r); upper and lower housing members (3b, 3a) coupled to a housing (3) surrounding the outer race (2); spacer members (4b, 4a) coupled to spacers (4) arranged in both left and right sides of the inner race (1); and upper and lower side cover members (5b, 5a) divided to form a side cover (5) coupled to both left and right sides of the housing (3). According to the present invention, the spacers (4), the inner race (1), the side cover (5), the rollers (r), the outer race (2), and the housing are coupled to each other in order by inserting each bearing member in narrower installation grooves (G) on multiple bearing seats (ST) recessed from the outer surface of a transfer roller (R) for transferring continuous casting slabs. Thus, the present invention can safely support the transfer roller by easily installing the split roller bearing on the bearing seats through the narrow installation grooves, and can increase the transfer efficiency of steel plates since the outer surface area of the transfer roller is relatively increased as much as the narrowed installation grooves.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
