The present invention relates to a greening retaining wall and a construction method for the same. The greening retaining wall includes a heavy object multiply and continuously piled up on a slope; a spacer which protrudes from the front surface of the heavy object and is installed between the heavy object and the ground or between the heaving objects; a geogrid which is installed between the heavy object and the ground or the heavy objects and maintains a gap with the heavy object by enclosing the heavy object and the spacer; soil which are included in a gap between the heavy object and the geogrid and provides environments to grow organisms; and a separation prevention unit which is included in the spacer and prevents the spacer from being separated from the heavy object by being engaged with the heavy object.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
