The present invention relates to an eco-magnesium alloy, and a method and an apparatus for manufacturing the same. Use of protective gas such as SF6, etc. is extremely decreased while the ignition temperature is increased, so flame-resistance is improved, and mechanical strength is reinforced. Moreover, since the gas contained in a magnesium alloy molten metal is rapidly and effectively extracted and discharged, environment-friendly castings of the high quality can be manufactured. According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing the eco-magnesium alloy comprises : a step for charging and melting pure magnesium or a magnesium alloy into a crucible; a step for adding calcium to a melted magnesium alloy molten metal for resistance to flame; a step for adding a rare earth metal which consists of at least one element between an atomic number 57-71 to the melted magnesium alloy molten metal for reinforcing strength; a step for forming castings by spraying the magnesium alloy molten metal, to which calcium and rare earth metal are added, to an inside of a mold; and a step for extracting and discharging gas from the magnesium alloy molten metal shortly before the magnesium alloy molten metal is sprayed to the inside of a mold.
