PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a nitride phosphor improved in luminance than conventional products. SOLUTION : A nitride phosphor is expressed by general formula (1) : LnxSiyNn : Z on the surface of which at least one selected from a group consisting of calcium phosphate, potassium silicate and sodium silicate covers by 0.3 mmol/100 g or more. In general formula (1), Ln is a rare earth element except elements used as an augmenting agent; Z is an augmenting agent; x satisfies 2.7≤x≤3.3; y satisfies 5.4≤y≤6.6; and n satisfies 10≤n≤12.
