The present invention relates to an environmentally-friendly vegetation block for greenification of an artificial ground and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to an environmentally-friendly vegetation block for greenification of an artificial ground, which is composed of a vegetation wire net so as to supply soil containing seeds, which enables greenification of plants, and comprises the vegetation wire net and the block as one body, and a manufacturing method thereof. The vegetation block is characterized by enable plants to grow vegetate plants by supplying soil containing seeds on the front of a projection part; comprising a vegetation wire net which has side nets formed on both sides of the front net, a bottom net formed at the bottom of the front net, and a placing projection net on the side net to be cured and integrated with the projection part to form the vegetation block, and has an open space at the upper part; and enabling plants to grow by supplying soil containing seeds to the inside of the vegetation wire net. The placing projection net is formed by bending the end of the side net inward and outward, and bending the outer end inward again, so that the end part bent inward can come in contact with the surface of the projection part, and the rest of the part is cured as one body with the projection part.
