A method for producing a modified conjugated diene rubber, comprising (A) a step of obtaining a modified conjugated diene rubber by reacting a conjugated diene compound or a conjugated diene polymer which is obtained by polymerizing a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound and has an alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal active end, with a first hydrocarbyloxysilane compound having the following functional groups (a) and (b) : Functional group (a) : an alkyl polyether group Functional group (b) : a group convertible into an onium.
