The present invention relates to a single longitudinal mode optical fiber laser device using a transformative saturable absorber capable of controlling output power widely by inserting the transformative saturable absorber into the device as well as reducing the threshold current of laser and increasing energy converting efficiency. Moreover a saturable absorbing level of the laser can be widely controlled by inserting pump light, which is having a pulse of a C-band (Conventional band, 1530 nm ~ 1560 nm), into a rate-earth added optical fiber saturable absorber. Moreover wide band pulse transformative single longitudinal optical fiber laser, which is having a planarization processed output applied with the transformative saturable absorber, is provided.
