The present invention relates to a sorting apparatus for recycling resources from waste comprising a steel mesh conveyor (10) composed of a steel mesh belt so as to pass to the steel mesh belt spoils, stone pieces and metal pieces, etc. contained in waste thrown by a hopper (10a); a rake screening device (20) for screening and discharging vinyl, paper and plastic, etc. with a rake from waste passed from the steel mesh conveyor (10); a plastic/paper sorting device (30) for crushing and sorting the plastic and paper screened by the rash screening device (20) by using static electricity; a belt conveyor (40) for transferring spoil and stone pieces discharged from a steel mesh by the steel mesh conveyor (10) to a shape-recognizing sorter (60); a magnetic sorter (50) installed on the top of the belt conveyor (40) so as to magnetically pull and sort metal pieces from the spoil and stone pieces, etc. being transferred by the belt conveyor (40); and a shape-recognizing sorter (60) for sorting nonferrous metals such as aluminum cans, plastic pieces, woody pieces, clothes pieces and bottle pieces from the spoil and stone pieces, etc. passed from the magnetic sorter (50). Sorting speed can be improved and the whole costs of treatment can be reduced by fractionating and sorting vinyl, metal and paper, etc. contained in waste and reducing necessary work force.
