PURPOSE : A method for predicting the temperature of molten austenitic stainless steel is provided to predict a temperature change according to a working condition and to enable to reduce a temperature difference between the casting temperature and the tapping temperature. CONSTITUTION : A method for predicting the temperature of molten austenitic stainless steel is as follows. A temperature decrease coefficient required for tapping which is predicted based on the time required for tapping from tapping the refined steel to tapping a cast ladle and a temperature decrease coefficient required per each stage which is predicted based on a factor per each stage of time required from tapping the refined steel to tapping the cast ladle are calculated by controlling the tapping temperature by predicting a temperature change before tapping the refined steel to casting the steel. The temperature of the molten austenitic stainless steel is predicted based on the sum of a value obtained by multiplying the calculated temperature decrease coefficient per each stage and the time per each time and a value obtained by multiplying the calculated temperature decrease coefficient per each stag and the time required for tapping.
