PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide ground-improving soil using a ground-improving fixation agent of composition suitable for cohesive soil, and a method of improving ground. SOLUTION : A ground-improving soil is formed by kneading allophane-based volcanic cohesive soil with a ground-improving fixation agent to cause a hydration reaction, wherein 55-70 pts.wt. of the ground-improving fixation agent is mixed in 100 pts.wt. of the allophane-based volcanic cohesive soil. The ground-improving fixation agent is obtained by mixing 25-100 pts.wt. of lime hydrate and 12.5-37.5 pts.wt. of gypsum dihydrate in 100 pts.wt. of blast-furnace slag. COPYRIGHT : (C)2013, JPO&INPIT
