PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a separated molybdenum chemical species, which can suppress the increase of waste and can fully recover molybdenum as a rare metal in a treatment of a mixed liquid containing several kinds of mineral acids. SOLUTION : The method for producing the separated molybdenum chemical species to separate the molybdenum chemical species from the mixed liquid containing molybdic acid and mineral acids other than molybdic acid comprises a step of bringing the mixed liquid from a mixed liquid passage 21 into contact with an anion exchange resin 23 in the presence of phosphoric acid at a pH of ≤9 to ion exchange ions containing molybdenum ions.
