PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnet compact which simultaneously satisfies thickness increase, density increase, and magnetic characteristics (especially, coercive force, residual magnetic flux density, and adhesiveness) improvement. SOLUTION : A rare earth magnet phase of a magnet compact comprises a nitride, as a main component, containing Sm and Fe, has 80% or over of a theoretical density of a magnet compact when constituted of the rare earth magnet phase, and has a structure in which particles of Zn and/or Mn are dispersed in the magnet compact.
