PURPOSE : A long-lived ultraviolet ray lamp is provided to have a space unit of an electrode socket which is coated with a dielectric, thereby improving capacitance even at low voltage.CONSTITUTION : A glass tube(10) is formed with a filling space(11) in which gas is filled. Openings(12) are formed on both sides of the glass tube. An electrode socket(20) comprises a horizontal member(21) and a vertical member(22) to be connected to the openings of the glass tube. A space(23) which is formed by the horizontal member and the vertical member is connected to the filling space of the glass tube.
