PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a phosphor of a yellow to orange color, which can obtain a white light with warm feeling when combined with a blue LED; its production method; and a light-emitting device equipped with the phosphor.SOLUTION : The phosphor is represented by R4Si2O7N2 : Eu2+, wherein R is one or more rare earth elements.
