FIELD : process engineering.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to disposal of dangerous toxic organic wastes containing polychlorinated biphenyls or unusable pesticides. Proposed method comprises first stage whereat liquid-phase reduction is conducted in the presence of alkaline reagent and useful additives mixed in water solution of monoethanolamine in reaction chamber 2 on heating by superheated vapor to 170°C. Then, mixed temperature is increased to 190°C in 25 minutes and held for three hours at 190°C to 200°C. At a time, volatile substances are trapped to be killed at second stage. Note here that said alkaline reagent represents, at least, sodium hydroxide. Oil fuel, metal salts of variable valence in the form of hydrate salts, aliphatic spirits or rare-earth metal oxides are used as said useful additives. At second stage produced mix id fired in combustion chamber 5 at 600-700°C while flue gases along with volatile matters are burnt up 6 at, at least, 1200°C and stay time making, at least, two seconds. Thereafter, flue gases are cooled in heat exchange 7 to 200-300° while water heated therein to 80-95°C is used for heat supply.
EFFECT : higher efficiency, lower costs.
