PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a conductor for solar cell interconnector, capable of suppressing warpage of a cell because of a low 0.2% proof stress, excellent in fatigue characteristics, and capable of preventing troubles such as fracture from occurring even if repeated stresses act thereon, and to provide the solar cell interconnector.SOLUTION : The conductor is used for the solar cell interconnector for connecting cells to each other in a solar cell module, and contains 0.0001-0.01 mass% in the sum of at least one of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zr, Ti, Mn or rare-earth elements, and the balance copper with inevitable impurities. A 0.2% proof stress is made to be ≤100 MPa, and a special intercrystalline ratio (Lσ/L) being a ratio of a special intercrystalline length Lσ to the whole length L of crystal grain boundary measured by an EBSD method is made to be ≥55%.
