The invention relates to a device for marking land, visible day or night, comprising a body to be buried in the ground and having filaments protruding above the ground surface, said device being characterized in that the filaments are made of a polymeric material comprising a polyamide base and a phosphorescent pigment. Preferably, the phosphorescent pigment is a rare earth aluminate, e.g., a strontium aluminate, in the form of particles whose median diameter D50 is between and 100 µm 50 µm. Another object of the invention is a method for producing the polymeric phosphorescent filaments, wherein a mixture comprising a polyamide-based polymer and a phosphorescent pigment is subjected to a vertical extrusion through a die pe-type crosshead, and to the drawing of the resulting filaments. The device can be installed by simply pushing it into the ground, along a path, the limits places of a parking lot or on a camping, for a permanent marking as temporary, visible at all times of day and night.
