Use of a glass having a high heat-insulating property as a windowpane leads to an increase of the room temperature due to the heat caused by indoor living even in a state relatively low in outside air temperature and requires that the room temperature be forcibly reduced using an air conditioner. A windowpane has a phase-change substance film formed on a glass plate, wherein the phase-change substance film comprises an Mn-containing perovskite oxide represented by (A 1-x B x )MnO 3 ; A represents at least one of rare-earth ions of La, Pr, Nd, and Sm; B represents at least one of alkaline-earth ions of Ca, Sr, and Ba; and 0 ‰ x < 1. The windowpane having a heat control function according to the present invention can emit the heat of room air to outside air in a state in which the room temperature is higher than the outside air temperature.
