PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a separation recovery method of rare-earth magnets capable of enhancing the purity of rare-earth magnets which are separately recovered from an object to be separated, and to provide a manufacturing method of rare-earth magnets, and a manufacturing method of rotary electric machines.
SOLUTION : In the separation recovery method of rare-earth magnets for separation recovering the rare-earth magnets 3 from a rotor (object to be separated) 1 including a rotor core 2 and the permanent magnets (rare-earth magnets) 3 fixed to the rotor core 2 with an adhesive 4, temperature of the rotor 1 is raised at first in a vacuum where the hydrogen partial pressure is 1 Pa or lower or in a non-oxidation gas (temperature rise step). Subsequently, temperature of the rotor 1 is maintained between 900-1000°C in a vacuum where the hydrogen partial pressure is 1-15 Pa or in a non-oxidation gas (predetermined temperature region step). Thereafter, temperature of the rotor 1 is lowered in a vacuum where the hydrogen partial pressure is 1 Pa or lower or in a non-oxidation gas (temperature lowering step).
