PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide worked products such as rare earth sintered magnet blocks with high dimensional accuracy by using this cemented carbide base outer balde cutting wheel.
SOLUTION : In the cemented carbide base outer balde cutting wheel, an annular thin disc made of cemented carbide is used as a base, and a blade section is formed by bonding the base and abrasive grains, and the abrasive grains to each other by means of metal or alloy bond on the outer periphery of the base. A diamond and/or cBN abrasive grains with an average grain size of 45-310 μm and a toughness index TI of 150 or more is used. Moreover, the tolerance of the thickness of an overlay portion of the blade section (T3max-T3min) is set at 0.001 mm or more and 0.1×T2max mm or less (T3max and T3min are maximum value and minimum value of the thickness of the overlay portion, and T2max is maximum value of the whole thickness of the blade section). Furthermore, the roundness of the blade section (ODmax/2-ODmin/2) is set at 0.001 mm or more and 0.01×ODmax mm or less (ODmax and ODmin are maximum value and minimum value of the outer diameter of the blade section).
