PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet which has excellent magnetic properties, and can sufficiently suppress the variations in the magnetic properties resulting from the variations due to a content rate of B. SOLUTION : This rare earth magnet includes R (where R is at least one element selected from rare earth elements in which R includes Y), B, Al, Cu, Zr, Co, C, Si, and Fe as essential elements, wherein content rates to the total essential element are 25 to 32 mass% R, 0.84 to 0.98 mass% B, 0.03 to 0.25 mass% Al, 0.01 to 0.15 mass% Cu, 0.03 to 0.25 mass% Zr, ≤3 mass% Co (however, 0 mass% is not included), and 0.03 to 0.15 mass% C, 0.028 to 1.5 mass% Si, and valance Fe, respectively, and a content rate of O is ≤0.2 mass%.
