The embankment structure or earth body comprises multiple earth material layers (1), which are arranged horizontally one above the other, and reinforcing elements (2), which are arranged between the earth material layers. A closed pipeline (3) is provided on the reinforcing element made of geosynthetic material, particularly polymeric geosynthetic material. The closed pipeline is arranged in the area of the reinforcement element, which is applied as an element of geothermal system. The pipeline is applied as a horizontal reinforcement. The pipeline is arranged inside the earth material layer.
