PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for efficiently separating a rare earth element belonging to lanthanoid. SOLUTION : There is provided a fungus capable of accumulating dysprosium, a progeny obtained by subculturing the fungus, or a mutant originated from the fungus.
