PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rotary machine magnet, a rotary machine and a manufacturing method of the rotary machine magnet which can reduce cogging torque of the rotary machine.
SOLUTION : A rotary machine magnet is a rare-earth sinter magnet which includes a rare-earth sinter magnet body containing composition of R2T14B (R represents one or more kinds of rare-earth elements including either one or both of Nd and Pr as main component, T represents one or more kinds of transition metal elements containing Fe or Fe and Co) phase. The rare-earth sinter magnet body arranges a surface facing a stator with a plurality of coils disposed in a circumferential direction of a rotary machine in substantially parallel with an opposed surface facing the surface. Residual magnetic flux density of both end portions including both end sections of an end surface of the rare-earth sinter magnet body and side face sections thereof is lower than that of center portion including center section of the end surface facing the stator and side face sections thereof. The ratio between the residual magnetic flux density of the both end portions and that of the center portion in the rare-earth sinter magnet body is 0.4% or more.
