The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rare-earth complex polymer having enough thermal resistance to be combined with a plastic material and undergo a molding process. A rare-earth complex polymer in an ideal embodiment includes a plurality of both trivalent rare-earth ions and phosphine oxide multidentate ligands, and includes a crosslinked structure, formed by the phosphine oxide multidentate ligands being coordinated to the plurality of rare-earth ions.
