PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for improving germination of soil seeds enabling improvement in a germination ratio of soil seeds falling in topsoil : to provide a vegetation substrate : and to provide a greening method. SOLUTION : The method for improving a germination ratio of soil seeds (a) falling in topsoil, and comprises a process of improving soil physicality for segmentalizing the topsoil containing the soil seeds, and a stress-giving process of giving at least two of vibration stress, air stress, photostress and damage stress to the soil seeds falling in the topsoil.
