PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a doped ceria-based sintered body being dense, having a uniform structure in a nano level and having high electroconductive characteristics and to provide its producing method. SOLUTION : The rare earth element-doped nano ceria-based sintered body is characterized by having a relative density of 95% or more, an average particle diameter of 1×102nm or more and 2×102nm or less and a standard deviation (σ) expressing the spread of a particle diameter distribution of 6×10 nm or less.
