The invention relates to a re-closable folding box, comprising a flat or a multipart blank, wherein two lateral walls, a front wall, a rear wall, a base and a tiltable hinged lid mounted in the manner of a slip lid are formed, characterised in that one edge of a hinged lid (7) is defined on a blank (40) by means of a perforation (17), a continuous incision (31) or by means of a reinforced section (5), wherein on said blank (40) an upper main fold line (18), which runs continuously and horizontally, and a lower main fold line (19), which runs continuously and horizontally, are arranged, wherein along the edge that forms at the upper main fold line (18) the blank (40) is designed forwardly and downwardly displaced, wherein a portion disposed between the main fold lines (18) and (19) is designed as a stabilising strip (28), wherein fold lines (35) to be applied perpendicularly are formed, wherein a connection of the blank (40) to a folding box casing (26) is formed either by means of a recessed arrangement into the rear wall (6) of a joining flap (36) adjoining a lateral wall, or by means of a recessed arrangement into the half-rear wall (33) of a joining flap (36) adjoining the half-rear wall (33).
