PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a packaging body for a cryopreservation vial which makes liquid nitrogen and/or miscellaneous bacteria hardly invade into a container and is suitable for preservation of a rare biological sample. SOLUTION : The packaging body for cryopreservation of the biological sample is equipped with a mouth part 11 and a bottom part 13, and is also equipped with a main body composed of a freeze-resistant plastic and an inner cavity, and includes a partitioning part 14 composed of a freeze-resistant resin film. The partitioning part has its upper end part projecting above the mouth part, and is connected to the mouth part of the main body so as to make the inner cavity communicate with the mouth part.
