A device for biosample storage that in the frozen storage of biosamples including a sample being rare and/or difficult to handle, realizes frozen storage without damaging of involved sample, and that realizes ready thawing of the frozen sample to thereby attain recovery of the involved sample without loss. There is provided a device for biosample storage comprising a sample mount part for biosample placing and, attached thereto, a grip part. A biosample is placed in the sample mount part of the device, and the sample mount part having the sample placed therein is accommodated in a frozen storage container. The frozen storage container is put into a state frozen by customary means. Thus, any analyte contained in the sample disposed on the device for biosample storage can be effectively recovered without loss.
