PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To compensate secure valve action even when a large scale earthquake happens which is a rare phenomenon as it is possible to prevent secondary water leakage accident caused by pump re-start and the like after the earthquake by conducting automatic operation inspection regularly. ŽSOLUTION : The emergency cut-off valve device includes an emergency cut-off valve 12 having a function for opening and closing a valve 13 when sensing an earthquake and an earthquake seismoscope with an earthquake detection sensor 23 for detecting the earthquake connected from an actuator 21 by a cable, an operation panel 25 with an operation knob 20 for switching test/use and a display device 24 for displaying that the valve is in operation and a state of an operation test and has a function for driving the valve for a closing action by supplying a charging voltage accumulated in a storage battery 18 to a direct current motor 16 when the earthquake is sensed by the earthquake detection sensor of the earthquake seismoscope.
