FIELD : technological processes. SUBSTANCE : invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to a welding wire used for welding cryogenic steels. The wire is made of the following material, containing carbon : 0.10 wt % or less, not including 0%, silicon : 0.15 wt % or less, not including 0%, nickel : 8.0-15 wt %, manganese : 0.10-0.80 wt %, and oxygen in the amount of 150 parts/mln. or less, including 0%, and the balance is Fe and unavoidable admixtures. The material contains chromium : 4.0 wt % or less, not including 0% or Al : 0.1 wt % or less, not including 0%, and rare-earth metals : 0.005 - 0.040 wt %, and may also additionally contain titanium : 0.10 wt % or less, not including 0%.
