PURPOSE : A water treating method using the electric neutralizing speed adjustment of colloidal particles is provided to improve the efficiency of a wastewater treating process by preparing conditions for the chemical bond reaction of metal ions with respect to phosphorus, nitrogen, and suspended solids.
CONSTITUTION : A coagulant is introduced into wastewater contained in a coagulation reactor. The introducing amount of the coagulant with respect to the wastewater is between 5 and 120 mg/l. A slow mixing process is primarily implemented at 20-80 rpm for 5 to 30 minutes. A rapid mixing process is secondarily implemented at 90-220 rpm for 30 to 90 seconds. A precipitating process and a filtering process are followed. The coagulant is one or the combination of a group including aluminum-based, iron-based, calcium-based, magnesium-based, rear earth metal-based compounds, and the compound of a rear earth metal and an aluminum salt.
