PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth magnetic alloy with which permanent magnet with excellent magnetic properties can be produced and a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION : A rare-earth magnetic alloy has a main phase including an R2T14B phase (R indicates one or more kinds of rare-earth element including Nd, and T indicates one or more kinds of transition metal element including Fe, or Fe and Co), and a grain boundary phase including an R phase and R1+δT4B4 phase. The percentage of the volume% of R1+δT4B4 phase with respect to the sum of the volume% of the R phase in the grain boundary phase and the volume% of R1+δT4B4 phase is 0.25 or greater.
