PURPOSE : An air filtering apparatus and an air filtering method using the same are provided to compactize the apparatus and to reduce a cost required for manufacturing processes. CONSTITUTION : An air filtering apparatus includes an outer tank(100), an inner tank(200), an auxiliary tank(300), and a suction unit(400). Water is contained in the outer tank. An external air introducing suction part is formed at the outer tank. Water and external air are successively introduced from the outer tank to the inner tank. A first opening and closing valve(210) is arranged at the inner tank and is opened and closed according to a pressure. The introduced external air is bubbled in the introduced water, and impurities are absorbed in the water. The external air without the impurities is discharged. The external air is introduced from the inner tank to the auxiliary tank. A re-filtering process is implemented in the auxiliary tank. The suction unit sucks the water and the external air by forming a vacuum pressure in the auxiliary tank and the internal tank. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
