PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an R2Fe14B sintered magnet having a high maximum energy product. SOLUTION : An organic metal compound solution doped with an organic metal compound represented by M-(OR)x (wherein M contains at least one kind from among Cu and Co, R is any one of 2-6C alkyl groups and may be a straight chain or a branched chain, and x is an arbitrary integer) is doped to a fine powder of a pulverized R-Fe-B based magnet, and the organic metal compound is uniformly deposited to the surface of magnetic particles. After that, a molded body formed by powder compaction is maintained for several hours at 200-900°C in a hydrogen atmosphere to execute temporary baking processing in hydrogen. Then, the resulting product is baked at 800-1, 180°C, thereby a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured. COPYRIGHT : (C)2012, JPO&INPIT
