PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an umbrella with no damage of ribs in the use suffered from even strong wind and rain for being valuably used for a long time and preventing not-rare accidental damage of the ribs, which the user suffers from strong wind and which results in the loss of resources from not using the expensive umbrella to dispose it owing to troublesome repair. SOLUTION : An the basis of concept of "a mud-wall deadens a cannon-bullet", the solution is acquired not from increasing the strength of the shank or other ribs but from softly receiving external force such as wind pressure to lightly defend it by incorporating coil springs or plate springs into middle parts of all ribs radially stretching from the top of the umbrella.
